A weekend in Queenstown for a Photowalk

When I first saw Gordon’s post of have a photowalk in Queenstown, I was keen of the idea. So I took a look at some possible flights to Queenstown, but I was put off after seeing the price for flights, until Scott Kennedy mentioned that JetStar flights are pretty affordable. Now I was keen again. I thought why not go to Queenstown, there is beautiful scenery (from photos that I had seen of Queenstown) and I would be able to meet some great people.

Along the Pier

When Gordon Laing finally announced a date for the photowalk I was like bugger it I’m going to go to Queenstown for the photowalk. Since the photowalk was on the 18th of December, JetStar didn’t have any flights from Wellington to Queenstown until after the 22nd of December. I had to travel to Queenstown from Wellington via Christchurch.

Driving in My

Now all I had to do was convince Dad into let me go to Queenstown, he was reluctant at first (Chinese culture…) but did let me go in the end, maybe it is because I’m nearly 21 (on Thursday) and he is allowing me to have a bit more freedom…

I Spy With My Eye

I really enjoy going to Queenstown for the photowalk. I meet a lot of great people; people who inspire me, photographers, and others who I spoke too. I was in Queenstown for a day and a half; it is such a great place with great people and beautiful landscapes. I’ll definitely be going back (hopeful in the near future for a week or more).

DJ, put a Record On

Thank you everyone who was at the Queenstown photowalk.
